Across the Line

                              Across the Line
The world looked good from inside this line
I thought you kept me from what was mine

Without a thought I crossed the line
Pain and heartache was all I could find
The world had broke this heart of mine
No more joy, just fallen pride
I now know, what’s across the line

Could you take me back under your care?
Put aside the marks that I now bear
Wash them away with the blood and your name
                        I’ve learned this line isn’t a game
