Hello my fellow bloggie-ers :) Welcome too.... ta da! SNOW! lol lots of it! It is rather beautiful... FROM the inside of my warm house :) I choose to be mature and NOT go play in it like a child would... HAHAHA jk! right on if you do play in it! I'm a wimp! i would just rather not be covered in snow that melts and then your drenched in wetness!! :)
the snow does bring many memories from WAAYY back when i was a child ;) We use to have this HUGE hill right outside our house and we lived in a trailer court.. well there was this house across the cul-desac from us that was empty so we took the siding off of it and sled down the big huge hill! :D it worked fantastically! so fantasticall infact that we would slide down the hill, down the long road, cross an intersecting road and jump the curb, sliding across an emtpy space of grass :) it was a very LONG, BUMPY, COLD, delightful ride indeed!!! :)
I remember me and brooklynn digging holes in the snow when we were little and curling up into balls in side of the holes in the snow and pretending we were owls for some odd reason... hahaha i have no clue why! lol our favorite game as children was to pretend we were Indians.. so in the snow you would find us.. under a tarp which was over a burn barrel, which substituted a tee-pee for us :) lol we would sit there freezing in the snow being Indians.. lol
we also had snowball fights of course and made BEEutiful snow angels all across the yard! and tracked snow everywhere in mamas clean kitchen to get cookies fresh out of the oven! and when mom would say OK.. next time you come in, your staying in.. we would try our hardest to stay out in the snow as long as we could. oh those were the days!!
we use to catch frogs.. lol we had this hole underneath this cement thingy and we would fill it with water from the hose and lots of frogs would come swimming to the top. unfortunately our dog Maggie liked to eat frogs.. lol so we always had to be on guard for our little friends. but the frogs made her sick when she ate them.. and i wont explain what happened then. :D lol
-anyways. life as a kid was the best.. wouldn't trade my childhood for any other! :)
Brittney- who is now mature and hasn't played in the snow (yet) this year ;)
